Saturday 17 December, 10.30-11.30am
Enjoy songs, carols and live music with special guests Ceilidh Caleerie and Santa Claus! There will be a gift book for every child. This event is for parents/carers and children under three but older siblings are welcome too.

Saturday Rhymetimes
Enjoy rhymes and songs with juice and snack. For parents, carers and children under three but older siblings are welcome too!
Rhymetimes is on the last Saturday of the month at Craigmillar Library and will have the following themes for the next few months:

Off to Nursery
This event is for children who are about start nursery. Parents and carers have the chance to meet nursery staff from local nurseries and there is a gift bookbag for every child.
The next Off to Nursery event will take place on Wednesday 8 February, 1.30-2.30pm at Craigmillar Library. This event is for children turning three in March, April and May 2012.
If your child is now three years old and has not received a rucksack, please contact Michelle.

Events and Outreach Work
Activities for children under 3. Parents or carers will be organised both in the library and elsewhere in the Craigmillar area as part of the project's outreach work.
Best Baby Book Parents
Best Baby Book Parents are involved in selecting a shortlist of Best Baby Books for 1 year olds. They choose 4 general baby books and 2 nursery rhyme books.
The books are toured around the local area and other parents are invited to vote on them to select 3 overall winners. The winning titles are made available in the Craigmillar Books for Babies Book Bag. Details of the winning titles are published in the newsletter.
